Tambach Teachers’ College is one the 25 Public Primary Teacher
Training Colleges in Kenya. The institution which stands out uniquely
from the other TTCs was constructed from the late 1980s through to
early 1990s by the Chinese through a joint sponsorship by the
Government of Kenya and the World Bank. The college is located in
the serene section of the Elgeyo escarpment in Keiyo North District
43km from Eldoret, 11km from Iten and 39km from kabarnet, along
the Eldoret-Kabarnet tarmac road.
The ultra modern institution stands on an 80 acre escarpment land,
boasting of a magnificent two storey, star-shaped complex of Chinese
architecture, and running round in a continuum with a grass- lawnedatrium
